A well-established and popular 6th form college in North London is seeking a qualified and experienced Psychology & Sociology Teacher to join their team on a part-time, 3-days-a-week basis. The role will involve teaching both A-Level and BTEC students, with a focus on Psychology and Sociology.

The Role

As a part-time teacher, you will be responsible for preparing, planning, and delivering engaging lessons in Psychology and Sociology to students aged 16-18. You will also provide support for exam preparation, coursework, homework, and student monitoring. The expectation is that you will work to ensure high levels of student attainment and progress. You will join a supportive and experienced team, with strong support from the senior leadership team.

The school is looking for a teacher who meets the following criteria:

  • QTS / QTLS / PGCE or another relevant teaching qualification
  • Strong subject knowledge in Psychology and Sociology
