Pastoral Support Officer β Secondary School, Greenwich. Start Date: September 2026 β December 2026 (1 term). Full-time, term-time only.
We are working with a welcoming secondary school in Greenwich seeking a caring and proactive Pastoral Support Officer to join their team in September.
This is a positive opportunity for someone with secondary school experience to support pupils and contribute to a safe, inclusive environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day pastoral support to Year 8 and Year 9 students.
- Build positive relationships with students to promote good behaviour, attendance, and engagement.
- Support students with social, emotional, and wellbeing needs, and signpost additional help where required.
- Meet with parents, carers, and external agencies to discuss student progress or concerns.
- Assist with behaviour monitoring, attendance tracking, and record keeping.
- Contribute to whole-school initiatives that support inclusion and student wellbeing.
- Work collaboratively with teaching staff to ensure consistent pastoral support across the year groups.
