We are currently working with a secondary school in Wandsworth who are looking for a HR Officer to join their school on a full-time basis from September 2026.
The Role
You will be responsible for providing support in the various human resources functions, which include recruitment, staffing, policies and procedures, performance monitoring and payroll processing. This opportunity will suit someone who is passionate about HR and highly organised. Ideally, you will have knowledge of various HR functions. The school wants to see a committed and approachable individual.
Key Duties:
- Key link to the principal for staff recruitment, maintenance of Personnel information (Arbor), HR operational procedures, i.e., sickness absence recording and monitoring for whole staff body.
- To perform all payroll administration on payroll portal including monthly checking of report and submitting staff additional hours claims to third party provider deadlines.
- To administer the whole recruitment process following Safer Recruiting guidelines including placing advertisements, circulating recruitment packs, organising the interview timetable and compiling interview packs.
- Conduct all new starter recruitment checks and compliance ahead of start dates and following up on missing information with individuals or third parties.
- Issue Offer Letters and Contracts as agreed.
