We are looking for caring, patient and dedicated
1:1 SEN Teaching Assistants to support pupils with a range of additional needs.
These roles are ideal for experienced SEN professionals, recent graduates or individuals looking to begin a rewarding career in SEND.
The Role
You will provide personalised 1:1 support to an individual pupil, helping them access learning, develop independence, build confidence and reach their full potential.
You may support pupils with
- Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC)
- Speech, Language and Communication Needs (SLCN)
- ADHD
- Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs
- Physical or complex needs
- EHCPs
Key Responsibilities
- Providing dedicated 1:1 support throughout the school day.
- Helping pupils access learning and activities.
- Supporting communication, emotional regulation and positive behaviour.
- Encouraging independence, confidence and social development.
- Supporting transitions and changes in routine.
- Adapting activities to meet individual needs.
- Working closely with teachers, SENCOs, therapists and families.
- Providing personal care support where required.

- You will be patient, caring, reliable and adaptable, with a genuine passion for supporting children and young people with additional needs.
- Previous experience in SEND, education, care, youth work, psychology or similar environments is desirable but not essential for every role.
