A welcoming and inclusive primary school in Tower Hamlets is looking to appoint a dedicated KS1 Teacher to join their team from September 2026 on a full-time basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs) looking to develop your teaching career within a supportive and collaborative school environment.

The Role

In this KS1 Teacher role, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and creative lessons within either Year 1 or Year 2. You will work closely with colleagues and support staff to create a positive learning environment where pupils feel supported, challenged, and encouraged to achieve their full potential. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of the KS1 curriculum and experience teaching within either Year 1 or Year 2. You will be responsible for planning and delivering lessons, assessing pupil progress, and supporting children’s academic, social, and emotional development.

The school is looking for a teacher who is enthusiastic, organised, and passionate about providing high-quality teaching and learning experiences for all pupils. The ideal candidate will:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Have experience teaching within Year 1 or Year 2
  • Have a strong understanding of the KS1 curriculum
  • Demonstrate excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
  • Be passionate about supporting children’s learning and development
  • Work effectively as part of a team
