Secondary Teaching Assistants needed for a Learning Support Assistant with SEND role at a diverse and inclusive school in Redbridge, starting Monday 03/11/2025.
The Role
In this role, you will be supporting pupils with additional learning needs across both Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. You will work closely with the pupils on a 1 to 1 and small group basis to support them across a range of academic lessons. A calm and consistent approach is essential, along with a commitment to helping pupils make progress and overcome learning barriers. Experience working with Autism, SEMH, Speech and Language, or MLD is an advantage but not necessarily required for this general Secondary role. You will collaborate closely with the SENDCO and subject teachers, providing assessments and reports.
This role is offered on a full-time supply basis and will be ongoing.
