Philosophy Education is working in partnership with a secondary school based in Folkestone, Kent, to recruit an enthusiastic and committed English Teacher for the new academic year.

This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate English Teacher looking to join a supportive school and deliver engaging lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.

The Role

You will be responsible for planning and delivering high-quality English lessons, supporting students to develop their confidence in English Language and Literature and contributing positively to the wider English department.

  • Teach English across KS3 and KS4
  • Plan and deliver engaging and challenging lessons
  • Monitor and assess student progress
  • Maintain high expectations for behaviour and achievement
  • Support students of varying abilities and learning needs
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues within the English department
  • Contribute to the wider life of the school

The Successful Candidate

We are looking for a qualified English Teacher who is passionate about their subject and committed to supporting students to achieve their full potential.

You must hold QTS or a recognised UK teaching qualification and have experience teaching English within a secondary school environment.
