Philosophy Education is working in partnership with a secondary school based in Folkestone, Kent, to recruit a passionate and knowledgeable Computer Science Teacher for the new academic year.
This is an exciting opportunity for a Computer Science specialist looking to join a supportive secondary school and inspire students through engaging and practical teaching.
The Role
As a Computer Science Teacher, you will deliver high-quality lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, supporting students to develop their knowledge of computing, programming and digital technologies.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Teaching Computer Science and Computing across KS3 and KS4
- Planning and delivering engaging lessons
- Supporting students with programming and computational thinking
- Monitoring and assessing student progress
- Maintaining high expectations for behaviour and achievement
- Supporting students of varying abilities
- Working collaboratively with colleagues across the department
- Contributing to curriculum development and the wider school community
The Successful Candidate
We are looking for a confident and enthusiastic Computer Science Teacher with strong subject knowledge and a passion for technology and education.
You must hold QTS or a recognised UK teaching qualification and have experience teaching Computer Science or Computing within a secondary school environment.
