A large, welcoming high school in Croydon is looking for Teaching Assistants to join their school from September 26 to work with pupils across their secondary school.

The Role

In this role, you will be supporting a range of pupils with learning needs across the school. Pupils will need support to focus in lessons and complete tasks as well as managing their emotions and behaviour. You will work with various pupils across the school, primarily in KS3 (11 to 14 year olds), although you may support some older students in KS4. You will work closely with teachers and the school's SEN Co-ordinator and will be provided with training.

The school is open to applications from anyone with previous experience supporting teenagers in youth settings, community groups, or within their own personal life. You will need to be proactive, committed, and professional with a ‘can-do’ attitude. This is a great opportunity for anyone considering moving into teaching.

This role is offered on a full-time contract basis until July 2027, starting in September 26, with possible options for this role to continue into the next academic year.
