Early Years Teaching Assistant

A lovely primary school in Enfield is seeking an Early Years SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team as soon as possible for the rest of the academic year.

The Role

In this role, you will join a large staff team based within the school's Nursery & Reception Classes. You will undertake teaching assistant responsibilities, working closely with the class teacher to plan and prepare play-based learning activities. You should have good knowledge of the EYFS curriculum and experience working with young children to support their progress across all areas of learning. You will be involved in teaching early phonics, leading small groups, and conducting some whole-class carpet sessions. This role is offered on a full-time basis (8:30 am - 4:00 pm) during school term time.
