Are you a dynamic and creative professional with a passion for design and the arts? We are recruiting on behalf of a thriving secondary school that is seeking a Creative & Design Technician to support their innovative curriculum and theatrical productions.
About the Role:
As a key member of the school’s creative team, you will provide technical expertise in design, set construction, prop-making, and stage support. Ideally, you will have a background in theatre design, helping bring performances and creative projects to life. Your role will include:
- Assisting students and staff with creative and design technology projects
- Providing technical support for theatre productions, including set and prop design
- Managing materials, equipment, and resources in the creative department
- Ensuring a safe and inspiring learning environment
About You:
- A background in theatre production, design technology, or a related field
- Strong practical skills in set design, prop-making, and workshop management
- Experience working in an educational or creative setting (preferred)
- Enthusiasm for inspiring students in the world of creativity and performance
