Are you a dynamic and creative professional with a passion for design and the arts? We are recruiting on behalf of a thriving secondary school that is seeking a Creative & Design Technician to support their innovative curriculum and theatrical productions.

About the Role:

As a key member of the school's creative team, you will provide technical expertise in design, set construction, prop-making, and stage support. Ideally, you will have a background in theatre design, helping bring performances and creative projects to life. Your role will include:

  • Assisting students and staff with creative and design technology projects
  • Providing technical support for theatre productions, including set and prop design
  • Managing materials, equipment, and resources in the creative department
  • Ensuring a safe and inspiring learning environment

About You:

We are looking for someone with:

  • A background in theatre production, design technology, or a related field
  • Strong practical skills in set design, prop-making, and workshop management
  • Experience working in an educational or creative setting (preferred)
