We are looking for an enthusiastic and confident Playworker to join a primary school in Hackney with an immediate start until the end of the academic year.
The Role
In this playworker role you will take responsibility for the school playground during the school day (10am – 2pm). This is a unique opportunity for someone who is passionate about the importance of play and enjoys working with children in an energetic, supportive environment. You will be responsible for supervising children during playtimes and lunchtimes, ensuring they are safe and engaged, and for creating and resourcing stimulating play activities. Outside of active playtimes, you will prepare and maintain play areas, set up small activities, and help to foster a vibrant outdoor environment that encourages creativity, collaboration, and fun.
