A lovely catholic primary school in Roehampton are looking for an Intervention Teacher 2/3 days a week to cover a maternity absence in Yr3 starting end January.
The RoleIn this role you will be responsible for planning and leading a range of interventions and nurture groups for pupils in Year 3. You will lead interventions in Maths and English with small groups of children who require additional support in key areas, as well as those who are Gifted and Talented in order to ensure all students are supported to achieve their potential. You will have the advantage of working with two full time experienced and supportive teachers within the Y3 cohort, to plan and prepare appropriate sessions. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced primary teacher who would like a change from class teaching.
To apply for this role you must hold QTS and have experience teaching within KS2. The contract is part-time, 2-3 days per week to cover a maternity absence starting at the end of January for the rest of the academic year.
