The Role
In this part-time afternoon role, you will work closely with two children, supporting their individual needs. One child requires assistance with physiotherapy exercises alongside classroom learning, while the other child presents complex behavioural challenges typical of early years SEND support. You will receive training from the school in Number Fluency and Little Wandle phonics to support their learning effectively. Key Responsibilities
- Provide 1:1 support for a Year 1 pupil completing physiotherapy exercises
- Support a Reception pupil with complex behavioural needs, applying appropriate strategies
- Participate in training for Number Fluency and Little Wandle programmes
- Work collaboratively with teaching staff and SEND leadership to follow individual education plans
- Maintain clear communication and accurate record-keeping
