A dynamic and forward-thinking secondary school is looking for a Learning Support Assistant to support pupils with hearing impairments in their specialist unit.
The Role
In this role, you will support 11 - 18 year old pupils who have a range of hearing needs across the school. The school is ideally looking for a learning support assistant who holds a BSL qualification (level 3 desirable) and knowledge of Makaton, as you will be required to translate spoken language into BSL competently within a mainstream classroom. You will be required every day (Mon - Fri) but hours are to be confirmed.
