A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and energetic Early Years Teaching Assistant to join a small, welcoming, one-form entry school in the Hampstead Heath area. This is an exciting role for someone who is passionate about working with young children and enjoys creating a fun, engaging, and nurturing learning environment.
The Role
- As an Early Years Teaching Assistant, you will be based in the Nursery, working closely with the class teacher to support the delivery of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.
- You will play a key role in supporting the delivery of high-quality, creative, and stimulating learning experiences.
- Encouraging children’s curiosity, independence, and love of learning through play-based activities.
- Promoting positive behaviour, inclusion, and social development in a nurturing environment.
- Observing and assessing children’s progress and contributing to regular reporting and planning discussions.
- Assisting with day-to-day classroom routines, ensuring the classroom remains safe, welcoming, and inspiring.
