A brilliant opportunity has become available to join a lovely Church of England primary school in Hammersmith and Fulham as a SEN Teaching Assistant in KS1 starting in September.

The Role

In this role, you will be working 1:1 with a child in Year 1 with Autism and associated behavioural difficulties. The child sometimes learns outside of the classroom and follows a personalised curriculum. When dysregulated, he can require a high level of support with behaviour and learning. The school are looking for an experienced Teaching Assistant who has supported children with a range of SEND, is reliable and committed in order to give the child consistency. Initiative and the ability to use a range of strategies to engage children, offer clear expectations and a positive approach are also essential. This role is to start in September and is offered on a full-time contract until the end of the academic year (to July 2027).
