Secondary Teaching Assistants needed for full-time positions (Monday to Friday) in Secondary Schools in Walthamstow with an immediate start.

We are working with a range of Secondary Schools in Walthamstow who are looking for confident, professional and dedicated individuals to work as Teaching Assistants/Learning Support Assistants. The role involves providing short-term and daily cover for teachers.

The Role

In this role, you will be supporting pupils with additional learning needs across both Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. You will work closely with the pupils on a 1:1 and small-group basis to support them across a range of academic lessons. A calm and consistent approach is essential, along with a commitment to helping pupils make progress and overcome learning barriers.

If you have experience working with Autism, SEMH, Speech and Language or MLD, this is an advantage but not necessarily required as it is a general Secondary role. You will work closely with the SENDCO and subject teachers, providing assessments and reports.

This role is offered on a full-time contract basis for the full academic year.
