A welcoming and vibrant community primary school in Wandsworth is seeking an experienced Teaching Assistant to join their team on a part-time basis from September 2026. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a small community focused learning environment.
The Role
We are looking for an experienced and committed Teaching Assistant to support a Year 6 class on a part-time basis in September. Working closely with your teacher, you will be based within the classroom providing learning support to pupils working at all levels. You will lead small groups in reading, literacy and Maths as directed as well as some 1:1 support as required. Your role will include supporting the teachers with administrative duties, preparing lessons and activities and covering break duties. The school are looking for Teaching Assistants with prior experience within a primary school setting and good literacy and numeracy skills. This role is offered on a part-time basis for the academic year from September 2025 until July 2026 on Monday afternoons and Tuesday to Friday mornings.

The school is growing steadily, currently catering to pupils from Reception to Year 5. In addition to core subjects, the school offers Forest School, swimming, and music lessons with specialist teachers, fostering a rich and diverse learning experience. The school is easily accessible by public transport.
