A lovely primary school in Haringey areseeking a number of 1:1 SEND Teaching Assistantsto support in various roles across the school on a 1 to 1 basis.

The Role

In this SEN Teaching Assistant role you will be supporting Students with identified Special Educational Needs.

You will support children with autism and ADHD the schools has roles in KS1 and KS2 .

All the children require support to access learning in class and to regulate emotions and respond appropriately with peers.

You will support the children both in the classroom and during specialist intervention sessions as required.

  • Experience supporting children with Autism
  • Experience of using visuals to structure sessions, including visual timetables, now/next boards
  • Calm, clear use of language
  • Confident behaviour management and boundaries

This role is offered on a full-time ongoing contract basis ASAP until July 2027.
