As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you’ll play a key role in supporting students with a range of Special Educational Needs and behavioural needs, helping them to stay focused in lessons, complete tasks, and manage their emotions positively. You’ll work mainly with Key Stage 3 pupils (ages 11–14), providing one-to-one and small group support that makes a real difference to their learning experience.
You’ll work closely with class teachers and the school’s SENCo and will receive ongoing training and support to help you develop your skills. The school welcomes applications from individuals with experience supporting young people in educational, youth, or community settings — as well as those who have relevant personal experience.
