Secondary English Teacher (QTS) – Hospital School (Camden) Part-Time (2–3 Days per Week)

A specialist education agency is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Secondary English Teacher to join a hospital school based in the London Borough of Camden. This is a rewarding opportunity to support young people facing medical or mental health challenges, helping them stay engaged with their education during a critical time.

The Role:

• Deliver engaging and adaptable English lessons to secondary-aged students in a hospital school setting
• Work with small groups or on a one-to-one basis, tailoring lessons to meet individual needs
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including healthcare professionals and support staff
• Provide continuity in education, promoting both academic progress and emotional wellbeing

The Ideal Candidate:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience teaching English at secondary level
• A flexible, patient, and empathetic approach to teaching
• Strong behaviour management and communication skills
• Previous experience in alternative provisions, SEN, or medical settings is desirable but not essential
