A group of welcoming and well-regarded primary schools in Kensington & Chelsea are seeking a flexible and enthusiastic PPA Teacher to work across a number of primary settings on a full-time basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a confident and adaptable teacher who enjoys working across different year groups and school environments while delivering engaging and high-quality lessons.

The Role

In this role, you will provide PPA cover across a range of primary schools, delivering pre-planned lessons and ensuring continuity of learning during teachers’ non-contact time. The successful candidate will work across EYFS, Key Stage 1, and Key Stage 2 classes, maintaining positive classroom environments and supporting pupils’ academic and personal development throughout the school day. You will be expected to quickly build strong relationships with pupils and staff, confidently manage behaviour, and adapt to different school settings and classroom routines.

Responsibilities

  • Delivering engaging and effective lessons across a range of year groups
  • Providing high-quality classroom cover during teachers’ PPA time
  • Managing classroom behaviour in line with school policies
  • Creating a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment
  • Supporting pupils’ progress and engagement within lessons
  • Liaising effectively with class teachers and senior leaders
  • Adapting confidently to different school environments and teaching expectations

Qualifications

  • Hold UK QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
  • Have experience teaching within UK primary schools
  • Be confident teaching across EYFS, KS1, and KS2
  • Demonstrate strong classroom and behaviour management skills
  • Be adaptable, organised, and able to work across different settings
  • Have excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Be available to start ASAP on a full-time basis
