In this Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) role, you will provide PPA cover and lead targeted intervention sessions across the school. You will work with pupils across the primary age range, supporting teaching and learning within a range of classroom settings. You will work closely with class teachers and support staff to deliver engaging lessons and help raise attainment across a range of subjects.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver planned lessons to whole classes during teachers’ PPA time
- Lead small group and one-to-one intervention sessions to support pupil progress
- Work collaboratively with teachers to ensure continuity and consistency in learning
- Contribute to planning, assessment, and classroom management as needed
- Support pupils’ social and emotional development in line with the school’s values
About You
- Qualified HLTA with a minimum of one year’s experience
- Strong understanding of the primary curriculum
