A specialist SEND school for primary aged pupils with Autism is looking for a qualified and experienced SEND Teaching Assistant to join them on a full-time contract basis for the academic year.
The Role
In this role, you will be supporting pupils in the Early Years Foundation Stage (4 – 5 year olds). Pupils attending the school range on the spectrum. You will be working in a class of 6 pupils, supporting SEND students with autism, and some students may present behaviours that challenge. Please note that some personal care may be required. You will be part of a team of staff in the Early Years delivering engaging, varied learning and development experiences. You will support the children with interventions and classes with specialists.
