Are you an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant looking for a rewarding role supporting children with Special Educational Needs in a primary school setting? We are currently recruiting dedicated and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistants to work within welcoming primary schools in Orsett. These opportunities are available for both immediate and September starts and involve supporting pupils across EYFS, Key Stage 1, and Key Stage 2.
This role is ideal for individuals who have at least 1 year of experience working with children and are passionate about helping pupils with additional needs thrive both academically and socially.
The Role
As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with class teachers and SENCOs to provide tailored support for children with a range of Special Educational Needs. Your responsibilities may include:
- Providing 1:1 support for pupils with Special Educational Needs.
- Supporting small groups of children with additional learning needs.
- Assisting children with Autism (ASD), ADHD, Speech and Language needs, SEMH, and Learning Difficulties.
- Helping pupils access learning activities within the classroom.
