A qualified Chemistry Teacher is required for a full-time maternity contract starting in September 2025 at a good secondary school in East London. The role involves teaching General Science and Chemistry from KS3 to KS5.
The school has a supportive and dynamic Science Department, benefiting from Mathematics & Science Specialism with 15 modern laboratories equipped with computers and mobile wireless laptops. At Key Stage 3, pupils receive a solid foundation in the Science National Curriculum, which is further developed at GCSE with alternative courses available, including Separate Sciences. Many students achieve above average grades in Biology, Chemistry, and Physics at ‘A’ Level, and the school also offers a BTEC in applied science.
