Are you passionate about supporting children and young people with Special Educational Needs?

We are looking for caring, patient and dedicated 1:1 SEN Teaching Assistants to support pupils with a range of additional needs.

These roles are ideal for experienced SEN professionals, recent graduates or individuals looking to begin a rewarding career in SEND.

The Role

You will provide personalised 1:1 support to an individual pupil, helping them access learning, develop independence, build confidence and reach their full potential.

You may support pupils with

  • Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
  • Speech, Language and Communication Needs (SLCN)
  • ADHD
  • Learning difficulties
  • Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs
  • Physical or complex needs
  • EHCPs

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing dedicated 1:1 support throughout the school day.
  • Helping pupils access learning and activities.
  • Supporting communication, emotional regulation and positive behaviour.
  • Encouraging independence, confidence and social development.
  • Supporting transitions and changes in routine.
  • Adapting activities to meet individual needs.
  • Working closely with teachers, SENCOs, therapists and families.
  • Providing personal care support where required.
  • The Ideal Candidate

You will be patient, caring, reliable and adaptable, with a genuine passion for supporting children and young people with additional needs.

Previous experience in SEND, education, care, youth work, psychology or similar environments is desirable but not essential for every role.
