We are currently supporting a consortium of 10 primary schools in Haringey who are looking to build a reliable bank of flexible staff who can offer short-term and ad-hoc cover across their breakfast and after-school clubs.
The Role
As a breakfast and after-school club play worker, you will help create a safe, engaging and enjoyable environment for all children attending the provision.
Responsibilities
- Supporting the daily running of the wraparound provision
- Leading or assisting with structured play, creative activities and games
- Ensuring children are safe, happy and engaged
- Helping with breakfast, tea and snack routines
- Building positive relationships with children, staff and parents
Hours
Breakfast Club: 7.30am β 9.00am
After-School Club: 3.00pm β 6.30pm
Please note this is a flexible, cover-based role. Shifts will be offered as required across the consortium.
Qualifications
- Experience working with children or young people
- A flexible, proactive and reliable approach
- An understanding and respect for the diverse communities within Haringey
- First Aid training (desirable but not essential)
