Phillips Grant Associates are supporting an accountancy practice based in the Borehamwood area to recruit for a Junior Accountant. To apply for this position, you will need to have prior experience within an accountancy practice and be studying towards your professional qualification ACCA or ACA or equivalent.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accounting Support: Assist in preparing draft accounts, management accounts, and KPIs for diverse SME clients.
- Bookkeeping: Handle data entry, reconciliations, and maintain accurate financial records.
- Compliance: Ensure clients comply with HMRC and Companies House regulations, including preparing and submitting CT600s and VAT returns.
- Client Interaction: Attend client meetings, respond to queries, and provide high-quality support.
