Want a Sales Director role where the deals you close change people's lives? Housing is a sector that rewards patience, credibility and real relationship-building. If you've built a career leading complex, considered enterprise sales motions - and now want to own the commercial strategy rather than just execute it - this is where you'll get to prove it.

We're working with a leading Proptech platform operating in the public sector and housing space - growing fast, backed by serious private equity investment, and trusted by thousands of housing associations to run better services for millions of tenants.

Here's the opportunity: an established customer base, a category-leading product, and real appetite to expand - but need a commercial leader who can shape the new-logo growth strategy for this market, lead and develop a small BD and AM team, and personally open doors at the most senior levels of complex, regulated buying environments. Someone who can set the standard for how deals are won.

To be considered you'll have the following:

  • Solid people development and mentorship experience: A proven ability to coach, mentor and develop BD and AM talent, raising the standard of performance across the team.
  • Strong commercial acumen: Strong commercial judgement, from forecasting and pipeline management through to budget planning and resource allocation.
  • A proven track record: A demonstrable track record of delivering enterprise sales results and building high-performing sales motions in complex environments.
  • Complex deal expertise: A deep understanding of long, complex deal structures, buying cycles and sales velocity, with the ability to balance strategic patience with commercial momentum.
  • Trained in sales methodologies: Strong command of structured sales methodologies, including MEDDIC and Miller Heiman, and the ability to embed disciplined approaches across a team.
  • Stakeholder mapping and alignment knowledge: The ability to map complex stakeholder groups and build strong cross-functional alignment across sales, product, customer success, finance, procurement and legal.
  • Procurement and legal knowledge: A strong understanding of procurement and legal processes, particularly within complex, regulated organisations, and the ability to navigate these effectively to keep deals moving.
  • Ownership and accountability: A strong ownership mindset, taking accountability for commercial outcomes, team performance and the end-to-end sales process.

Do this well, and in 12-18 months you'll have:

  • Built and scaled a strategic new-logo function in one of the most defensible verticals in enterprise software.
  • Proven you can lead a team to win in a market that rewards depth over speed.
  • Positioned yourself as a genuine commercial leader inside a business that's scaling.

What's in it for you:

  • £70-90k base depending on experience + £160-180k OTE.
  • Hybrid working - minimum 2 days a week in Manchester.
  • Strong benefits, 25 days holiday + bank holidays.

If you've got a track record as both an IC and with leading enterprise software sales teams, know how to sell and coach others to sell into complex, regulated organisations, and want a role where strategic ownership comes with a mission that actually matters - apply now.
