The predicted salary is between 40000 - 50000 £ per year.

Package: Basic Salary £40,000 - £50,000 (£75,000 - £85,000 OTE), car allowance, commission is uncapped, annual companywide discretionary bonus, 25 days annual leave, gym membership, healthcare plan.

Phillips Grant Associates are assisting a client with offices in Newcastle to recruit for a Business Development Manager to drive sales within one of the company’s specific areas. You will need to come from a solution orientated sales environment such as security, construction, compliance, facilities management or similar. You will be performing the full 360 sales process from initial contact through to meeting the client face to face to secure the business.

Key responsibilities:
  • Help develop and execute a sales strategy to achieve product and services sales targets.
  • Identify and prospect new clients within the target market segments including public and private sector clients.
  • Build and maintain relationships with existing clients, understanding their needs, and providing appropriate product recommendations and solutions.
  • Conduct product presentations and demonstrations to potential clients, showcasing the features, benefits, and value of the organisation’s offerings.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement effective sales campaigns, promotions, and lead generation activities.
  • Prepare and deliver sales proposals and contracts, negotiating terms and pricing to close deals.
  • Provide accurate sales forecasts and reports, tracking sales activities, customer interactions, and market trends.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product development, operations, and customer support, to ensure smooth sales processes and customer satisfaction.
  • Attend industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to expand our network and identify new business opportunities.
  • Prepare and present sales reports, metrics, and recommendations to senior management to facilitate informed decision-making.
