As a Specialist, Network & Security, you will be responsible for IT Administration, Networking and Cybersecurity specialist supporting Process Controls infrastructure at the Humber Refinery and/or UK Midstream assets.
Primary Accountabilities / Responsibilities
- Daily system event and checks and breakdown response for the areas of plant assigned
- Installing, configuring and managing network equipment (switches, routers, firewalls, wireless access points)
- Installing, configuring and managing servers and virtualisation infrastructure supporting the Process Controls
- Windows Domain system administrator, owner of individual and service accounts across the Process Controls L2, L3 and L3.5 systems
- Owner and administrator of infrastructure monitoring & support applications (SolarWinds, backup, antivirus, file transfer, Windows Update)
- Owner and administrator of Process Controls firewall rules
- Technical reviewer for Network, Infrastructure and Cybersecurity subjects
- Develop and execute Inspection, Testing and Preventative routines in collaboration with Process Controls Specialists
- Implement Cybersecurity Management activities (risk reviews, controls, audits)
- Maintain complete and accurate documentation (IACS architecture diagrams, asset inventories, system management manuals)
- Licensing and service contracts for relevant hardware and software
- Managing hardware and software lifecycle (budgeting, cutover scheduling and project execution)
Requirements / Key Skills
- Craft Instrument & Electrical qualified with HNC/HND or ICT or Computer Science degree qualified
- Cisco and cybersecurity professional qualifications (SANS, CISSP)
- Experience in network design, installation and commissioning
- Experience in Microsoft Operating Systems, including domain management and security controls
- Appreciation of CIA model differences between Industrial Control and IT systems
- Knowledge of Automation vendor (Honeywell, Rockwell) specific network administration and software requirements
