The Senior Advisor Regulatory Affairs will develop and maintain strategic relationships and clear lines of communication between the company and the regulatory authorities, and stakeholders locally, nationally and internationally. Responsibilities include:
- Long term decarbonisation policy and regulatory management for the UK business.
- Stay informed on UK and EU policy developments, ensuring information is communicated to relevant members of the business.
- Lead on UK ETS policy, represent P66 in FIUK Carbon Policy working group.
- Support the development and implementation of strategies to position the business in relation to policy/regulatory developments.
- Lead in submitting feedback to Government via consultations, funding competitions and similar engagements.
- Support the business with Renewable Fuel regulatory and policy developments.
- Communicate with multiple stakeholders inside and outside the organisation to develop positions.
- Lead relevant discussions with the associated regulatory bodies in support of processing low-carbon feedstocks.
- ESG coordinator for UK business – lead on development of Climate Related Financial Disclosures.
Outreach & influencing:
- Develop and utilise industry and international/national/regional networking channels.
- Work with all relevant associations to foster and build support for advocacy aims.
- Support business development discussions with third parties to identify technologies and feedstocks.
- Develop an understanding of the technologies and key players in industrial decarbonisation.
- Manage relationships and communication with international institutions and partner networks.

- Ability to communicate and articulate potential resolutions or strategies clearly.
- Ability to identify, address, and navigate opposition effectively.
