As an Experienced Rotating Equipment Engineer, you will work across the refinery to support safe operation and long‑term reliability of assets. Your key role includes providing technical support to operations and capital projects, proposing improvements, and enhancing equipment availability.

Responsibilities:

  • Focus on long‑term reliability improvements, justifying and recommending projects and equipment enhancements.
  • Determine optimal repair scopes for shutdowns to ensure maximum market capture during the next mission time.
  • Provide technical support to operations, troubleshoot discipline equipment issues, and recommend correct actions.
  • Understand, evaluate and forecast equipment degradation mechanisms to decide future repair scopes.
  • Undertake small engineering projects (up to £250,000) and specify and purchase replacement equipment (up to £750,000).
  • Develop appreciation of non‑discipline equipment and understand the roles of other departments in a complex 24/7 refinery.

  • Safety awareness.
