Responsibilities:
- Build and deepen relationships with Japanese individuals and corporates based in Singapore and the surrounding region, and refer them to Phillip Securities (Singapore) Pte. Ltd. across retail, wealth management, and institutional segments.
- Provide advisory and product solutions to clients, including Japanese and global equities, as well as managed account services.
- Promote the conversion of Japan Desk clients into Accredited Investors, enabling access to a broader range of investment products such as private placements, bonds, ETFs, and private equity.
- Work closely with Phillip Securities Japan to drive business expansion while ensuring strong coordination across both entities.
- Collaborate with PhillipCapital group companies, overseas offices, and external partners to develop and deliver new business initiatives and services.
Requirements:
- Strong communication skills in both Japanese and English (Able to speak and write fluently).
- Degree in Finance or its equivalent preferred.
- Certifications in CMFAS M1A, M5, M6 and M6A will be advantageous.
- Prior experience in investment and/or customer service will be advantageous.
- Diligent, meticulous, patient and resourceful.
- A team player who can work well with internal stakeholders including Backoffice and IT.
- Strong knowledge and interest in Financial markets and products including Equities/Fixed Income/Options/CFDs and Derivatives products.
- Knowledge and proficiency in basic coding, AI adoption, and/or RPA are preferred and advantageous.
