In this role your strategic vision directly shapes the future of Philips’ Imaging service portfolio across Europe. As the Service Business Manager for Image Guided Therapy, Europe, you are not just managing services—you are steering a critical growth engine for the business. This is a high-impact leadership role designed for someone who wants to combine commercial strategy, operational excellence, and customer-centric innovation on a continental scale.

You will develop and implement service delivery readiness plans, oversee financial and operational performance, and foster continuous service improvement. The role ensures regulatory compliance, drives market capabilities, and maintains a strategic services plan to position the business for long-term success.

Your Role:

  • Aligns service portfolio strategies with the overall business objectives, ensuring that services are tailored to support the business’s growth aspirations and customer needs.
  • Coordinates with cross functional business leaders to gather feedback on service performance, drive service market introductions, and ensure readiness for solution delivery.
  • Develops and implements service delivery readiness plans during product, software, or solution new product introductions (NPI), ensuring the creation of delivery instructions, normative hours, and customer-facing content.
  • Oversees the financial and operational performance of the service business, focusing on key metrics such as order intake, retention/churn rates, deal margins, and service availability.
  • Fosters a culture of continuous service improvement by defining and driving productivity initiatives that enhance service efficiency and effectiveness across the business unit.
  • Ensures compliance with regulatory requirements within the service business, developing operational KPIs to validate the success of service delivery processes.
  • Drives the development of market capabilities for selling and delivering business-specific services, ensuring that teams are equipped with the necessary tools, training, and resources.
  • Defines the requirements for enablers across the end-to-end service chain, including tooling and process improvements, to enhance service delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Establishes and maintains a strategic services plan that incorporates future market trends and business needs, positioning the service business for long-term success.
  • Leads the creation of comprehensive service documentation, delivery instructions, and customer-facing materials, ensuring that service teams are fully prepared for effective fulfilment of service business deliverables.

You’re the right fit if you have the following:

  • Extensive leadership experience in Service function within healthtech
  • Extensive experience in commercial execution in zone/region
  • Excellent senior stakeholder management skills
  • Working knowledge of Image Guided Therapy portfolio
  • Bachelor's / Master's Degree in Health Science, Engineering, Business Administration or equivalent.
  • P&L responsibility
  • Strong commercial strategy, strategic planning and data analytical skills

Compensation & benefits

Doing meaningful work should come with fair, transparent rewards. The base salary range for this role is £73,500 - £115,500. This role is eligible for a short term incentive with your rewards linked to key performance indicators and company results. How we work together

We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Note other locations within regular commuting distance of Philips head office locations in that country will be considered and discussed further at TA Interview stage.
