We are seeking a Marketing Business Analyst with a passion for events, data, and insights, and an interest in project management, to join our Global Events team. This role drives best‑in‑class analytics and reporting across a global portfolio of B2B events and tradeshows, while supporting the delivery of key Events Operations initiatives.
You will work closely with global marketing, insights, IT, and events stakeholders to turn complex data into actionable insights and improve tools, processes, and reporting that support commercial decision‑making.
Key Responsibilities- Act as the single source of truth for events data and reporting
- Deliver monthly, quarterly, and event-level insights to support commercial decisions
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using Salesforce, Qlik, Azure, and Excel
- Partner with Marketing Insights and Analytics team (MI&A) to integrate events data into enterprise analytics platforms
- Research and apply best‑in‑class event measurement and ROI practices
- Leverage AI and automation to improve reporting efficiency
- Manage third‑party analytics and reporting suppliers
- Support and improve the Events Operations tooling landscape
- Lead small to mid‑size projects, from scoping through delivery
- Prepare project documentation (objectives, scope, plans, cost estimates)
- Deliver process improvements, user stories, and workflow designs
- Train and enable business users on tools and self‑service reporting
- Create standard work instructions to ensure consistency and scalability
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Marketing or commercial analytics background
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
- Hands‑on experience with Salesforce reporting, Qlik, Excel (Pivot Tables)
- Understanding of agile ways of working
- Experience managing small to mid‑sized projects independently
- Fluent in English (written and spoken)
- Comfortable working in a complex, global matrix organization
- Experience with Azure / DevOps (nice to have)
- Knowledge of statistical analysis and ROI measurement
- Strong stakeholder communication and data storytelling skills
- Understanding of marketing, finance, and data models
- Experience designing scalable reporting or application solutions
- Familiarity with enterprise architecture and system integrations
This is an office‑based role. This role can be situated in the UK or in the Netherlands.
- For the UK you will be situated out of our Farnborough office.
- For Netherlands, you will work from our Amsterdam office.
