Job Description
In this role you’ll focus on improving patient outcomes while addressing clinical, operational and sustainability challenges faced by our customers.

Within the UKI Ultrasound Sales team, the role combines consultative selling, clinical collaboration and strategic business development enabling a highly rewarding career opportunity.
Your role
- Lead the creation and delivery of strategic account plans for high‑value NHS clients, using data and insight to align activities with business objectives and drive sustainable growth.
- Cultivate strong relationships with senior stakeholders and implement complex sales and marketing initiatives, using market analysis to uncover new growth opportunities.
- Understand the pressures and priorities facing the NHS and develop influential relationships with senior contacts across Trusts, ICBs and Networks.
- Balance immediate equipment requirements with the long‑term strategic development of accounts to optimise both short‑term results and future opportunity.
- Operate effectively within a matrix organisation, motivating and influencing cross‑functional teams (without direct line management) to deliver shared customer outcomes.
- Monitor account KPIs and financial performance, providing regular insights and updates to senior management and ensuring sales data is maintained accurately in the CRM in line with company policies.
- Develop and deliver tailored sales presentations and proposals that clearly communicate the value and competitive advantages of our solutions.
- Nurture and develop new business and convert competitor accounts to increase market share.
- Ensure full adherence to Philips’ business processes, quality standards and regulatory requirements, upholding the highest standards of integrity and protecting the company’s reputation.
This is a field-based role requiring flexibility to travel to customer sites within the UK as needed.

The salary range for this role is £ 32 000 - £ 50 000.
We determine pay within the range using objective factors, like the skills the role requires, your relevant experience and the responsibility you'll have in this role, alongside internal equity and local market considerations.
This role is eligible for a sales incentive with your rewards linked to key performance indicators and company results.
This role is a field based role and will therefore be eligible for a company car

You’re right for this role if you have the following
- Demonstrable track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets ideally in the medical devices sector with proven consultative solution‑selling experience.
- Proven ability to build and nurture deep relationships with customers and multiple stakeholders to drive commercial success.
- Skilled at developing complex customer proposals that address patient outcomes and clinical, operational and sustainability challenges.
- Understanding of financial models and commercial financing options.
- Demonstrated business development skills and commercial acumen.
- Experience using CRM systems, preferably Salesforce. com.
- Proficient in sales forecasting and pipeline management.
- Experience conducting market research and competitive analysis, analysing data and translating insights into strategic account plans and customer proposals.
- Excellent presentation skills, with strong written and verbal communication.
- Able to work independently with limited supervision, exercising sound judgment on significant matters to ensure project success and compliance.
- You have a Bachelor's / Master's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales or equivalent.
Due to the role working in the healthcare environment, a standard DBS (Disclosure and Baring Service) criminal record check will be required for this role.
