Clinical Application Specialist Cardiac Ultrasound - North London / East Anglia
Role: Clinical Application Specialist Cardiac Ultrasound focusing on the North London / East Anglia regions. You will demonstrate Philips Cardiac Ultrasound products, train new and existing users, and support the ongoing success of our Ultrasound business. You will work with a broad range of stakeholders and customers and will travel as required to client sites and events.
This role is remote-based with travel as needed, and may involve supporting others within the wider team. Clinical experience within cardiology and a customer-centric approach are highly valued, whether you are from a clinical background or have moved into the commercial space.
You will be part of the Ultrasound Clinical Application Specialist team reporting to the Business Line Manager, with support from the Ultrasound Clinical Applications team leader.
Your Role
- Demonstrate Cardiac Ultrasound products at customer sites, hospitals, and at conferences/exhibits. Provide specialist support to Sales Specialists to ensure equipment is demonstrated effectively.
- Manage post-sales customer product training at customer sites/hospitals and at Philips customer optimization days.
- Follow training schedules for the full equipment range and train customers in the use of our Ultrasound products; provide a formal applications report after all applications visits.
- Maintain contact with existing users to ensure ongoing customer satisfaction and confidence in Philips Ultrasound equipment.
- Ensure clinical applications training for new and existing Ultrasound customers aligns with the Company Quality Policy.
- Provide feedback to business/marketing management on reference site performance, competitors’ products, customer reactions and sales initiatives.
- Liaise with Product Management Group\'s applications team to ensure up-to-date Ultrasound information is available to users, including attending international meetings where appropriate.
- Provide support at courses delivered by key accounts/customers.
- Assist the Business Line Manager in marketing, sales and promotion of Cardiac Ultrasound equipment and provide specialist sales support to account managers when required.
You’re The Right Fit If
- Full UK driving license and willingness to travel extensively
- BSE accreditation in Echocardiography (or equivalent) essential
- Postgraduate studies in Clinical Physiology, Echocardiography or Clinical Science
- In-depth clinical experience within Cardiac Ultrasound
- Extensive scanning experience within Cardiology
- Capability to train others on Ultrasound equipment
- Excellent communication skills and positive relationship builder
Due to the role working in the healthcare environment, a standard DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) criminal record check will be required for this role.
