In this role as Modality Sales Specialist, you will be responsible for sales of the overall portfolio of Diagnostic Cardiology Solutions (DCS), and you will develop and execute strategic and tactical sales plans. You provide support across the wider Ambulatory Monitoring Device (AMD) portfolio where required.
Commercial execution of the DCS Portfolio in the UK, responsible to drive growth in the business and ensuring collaboration with the relevant Account Managers. Responsible for sales of the DCS Portfolio, working with District teams to achieve annual targets, both Order Intake and Sales. Understanding the diagnostic ECG landscape, through the analysis of competition, customer needs, trends, technological innovation and reimbursement.
Working collaboratively within a team of Modality Sales Specialists (MSS) for H&AM. Being the subject matter expert to support the broader Sales team with insights & knowledge specific to DCS, to be part of the DCS Launch team when relevant, and to ensure the localisation of Marketing Assets in collaboration with the Europe AMD Marketing Specialist and the UK Marketing team. To represent the Zone UKI within the Europe market for DCS to ensure the Europe BMC plans incorporate the UK requirements to achieve annual KPIs.
Developing and executing strategic and tactical plans, by identifying new business opportunities and capturing, assessing and acting on win/loss analysis. Align on local pricing and support Commercial Policy escalations. Work collaboratively with Philips Capability Centre (PCC) to ensure customer orders are fulfilled. Supporting large/strategic deals in the UK (strategic accounts, LSP opportunities), working with District teams. Support on strategic activities with Framework contacts (NHS Supply Chain, other important frameworks).
This role offers you the chance to work from home, with an expectation of travelling up to 60% to meet customers in South East UK.
You’re right for this role if:
- Minimum Bachelor's Degree.
- Have a clinical background with a keen interest in Cardiology and are familiar with the concept of patient monitoring e.g. Nurse, ODP.
- You are an excellent communicator able to build rapport and develop key stakeholder relationships easily.
- You thrive when working towards sales targets.
- You have high energy, enthusiasm and are highly driven, and are a team player and committed to collaborative team working.
- You are customer driven and are energized by face to face customer interactions.
How we work together
We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations. This role is a field role.
Due to the role working in the healthcare environment, a standard DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) criminal record check will be required for this role.
