Join Philips and help shape the future of interventional cardiology. As a Clinical Specialist for Structural Heart, you will support the UK launch of Philips’ groundbreaking 3D Intracardiac Echo Catheter (VeriSight Pro). You will be on the front line in cath labs, ensuring that interventional cardiologists and electrophysiologists adopt this innovative technology safely and effectively — directly improving patient outcomes in structural heart and electrophysiology (EP) procedures.
Your role:
- Contribute to one of Philips’ most exciting product launches in Europe, introducing a disruptive innovation that is redefining how structural heart interventions are performed.
- Support interventional cardiologists across the UK during their first 10–15 procedures per site, providing hands‑on clinical training and in‑lab guidance to ensure safe and successful adoption.
- Work as part of a newly formed European team of Clinical Specialists, reporting initially to the IGT Devices Leader Europe, and later transitioning to the UK IGT Sales Leader.
- Collaborate closely with UK sales teams, European marketing, and experienced global clinical experts.
- Develop professionally through exposure to leading hospitals, key opinion leaders, and cutting‑edge technologies in interventional cardiology.
- This role offers a unique opportunity to grow as a subject‑matter expert in both ultrasound imaging and structural heart interventions.
You’re the right fit if:
- You have at least 2–3 years of relevant clinical experience in structural heart interventions (e.g., Tricuspid, Mitral, LAAO) or invasive ultrasound imaging (TEE, ICE).
- You bring hands‑on expertise gained from major industry players such as Abbott (TriClip, MitraClip) or Edwards Lifesciences (Pascal, Evoque), or have comparable experience with cardiology devices.
- You hold a Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field (cardiology, ultrasound imaging, biomedical sciences, or similar).
- You are fluent in English, hold a valid driving licence, and are comfortable with extensive travel (up to 80%) across the UK.
- Relocation support may be available for the right candidate.
How we work together/location:
- This is a field‑based role, requiring regular and extensive presence in cath labs throughout the UK.
- Preferably you are located from a convenient location around London for frequent travels.
- We are not open for applications outside of the UK.
DSB Required:
Due to the role working in the healthcare environment, a standard DBS (Disclosure and Baring Service) criminal record check will be required for this role.
If you’re interested in this role and have many, but not all, of the experiences needed, we encourage you to apply. You may still be the right candidate for this and other opportunities at Philips.
