Phillips Healthcare training center provides task-oriented learning on Philips Healthcare products. The Technical Trainer (Learning Services Delivery Specialist) is responsible for delivering instructor-led and virtual training to Field Service Engineers and biomedical engineers. As part of the global Diagnostic-X-ray (DXR) Education team, you will provide training to ensure engineers are qualified to perform service-related activities on Diagnostic X-ray systems.
Your role:
- Course delivery: Deliver training courses to Field Service engineers and customer audiences at our Training Center and deliver virtual training.
- Your focus is technical training on Diagnostic X-ray products and related services.
- Arrange systems and lab environment to ensure that courses can be delivered in optimum conditions.
- Ensure that departmental safety regulations are followed to guarantee the safety of students and others.
- Evaluate courses and assess students to gather feedback to improve course quality and service information for the targets set by the business.
- Gain field experience to obtain a realistic view of the products and student environment to deliver training more effectively.
- Adhere to the QMS policy and processes for Education to enable standardized course development and delivery.
Course development:
- Co-develop course materials for various delivery methods (e.g., instructor-led, eLearning, web-based).
- Analyze learner feedback and training outcomes to identify trends and areas for improvement, using this data to make informed recommendations for enhancing learning services and content.
You're the right fit:
- Bachelor’s degree in biomedical engineering, electronics/mechatronics.
- 2+ years of experience in technical training or formal training.
- Didactical degree or didactical training experience.
- Experience in delivering virtual/web-based training is preferred.
- Subject Matter Expertise in diagnostic medical equipment or a comparable professional field.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Microsoft PowerPoint; graphics creation programs as part of the role.
- Ability to travel 10% of the time, including potential international travel.
