Your role: Leading Amazon in France – one of Philips’ most strategic and fast‑growing channels. As the commercial owner, you will influence pricing, demand generation, brand visibility, and category expansion. Your decisions will have an immediate and measurable impact on consumer reach, market share, and financial performance, making this role a key driver of Philips’ e‑commerce growth agenda.

Reporting and Stakeholders

  • Reports to: Commercial Leader Amazon & E‑Commerce Europe
  • Key internal stakeholders: Regional and France business and marketing teams, Media Team, Supply Chain, Finance, Commercial Leaders, WE Amazon team.
  • External stakeholders: Amazon Vendor Managers, AVS teams, retail media contacts.
  • Team structure: Leading direct reports within the Amazon France e‑commerce team (2 direct reports)

Key Responsibilities

  • Executing Amazon account strategies in line with customer priorities, driving collaborative business plans with partners to achieve growth goals, utilizing established operating models to ensure strategic alignment and effective execution.
  • Maintaining a constant sell‑out‑based performance management cadence at the local level, regularly analyzing and monitoring the sell‑out, in‑house share, conversion rates, and shopper data for e‑commerce platforms to ensure optimal performance and strategic alignment, working under limited supervision.
  • Monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) and e‑commerce metrics to track progress against goals, using this data to inform continuous improvement efforts and strategic adjustments, preparing detailed reports, and presenting findings to senior management.
  • Ensuring close collaboration with e‑commerce partners and Sales Leaders in various districts to realize sales targets for partners, providing valuable input to the online channel.
  • Developing and implementing strategic policies and processes for e‑commerce operations, identifying areas for improvement and driving innovative solutions to enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and compliance.
  • Building and managing strategic e‑commerce partnerships with key online retailers and marketplaces, leveraging these partnerships to secure prime positioning, expand customer reach, and drive mutually beneficial sales growth.
  • Developing deep expertise in various e‑commerce platforms to optimize brand presence, product assortment, and marketing strategies for each channel.
  • Collaborating effectively with internal departments to ensure a seamless customer journey across all online touchpoints by aligning strategies and processes, and addressing any issues that may impact the customer experience, ultimately delivering a cohesive and efficient online shopping experience.
  • Managing and developing employees to achieve organizational goals and ensuring compliance with industry regulations, all while fostering a culture of impact with care.
  • Assisting in preparing e-commerce sales forecasts and budget reports by analyzing historical sales data, market trends, and financial metrics, providing accurate projections and detailed financial insights to support strategic planning, allocate resources effectively.
  • Maintaining and growing comparable sales and market share while developing and executing sales strategies for Philips, contributing to the creation of medium‑term e-commerce sales policies, and transforming these results into a clear vision and actionable roadmap.

You’re the right fit if you have:

  • Experience: 5–8+ years in e‑commerce or digital retail, including direct Amazon experience (preferably Vendor Central), with proven delivery of sales and profitability outcomes.
  • Experience managing or mentoring teams; ability to navigate complex matrix organizations; passion for data‑driven decision making and continuous improvement.
  • Skills: Strong analytical capability, negotiation skills, stakeholder management, and ability to lead cross‑functional teams in fast‑paced environments.
  • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Economics, Marketing, or related field.
  • Language: proficient in English and French.
