HGV CLASS 1 DRIVER
Philip Trim Contractors has been established over 35 years operating from our premises in Bere Regis, Dorset. We operate over 16 articulated lorries, 4 rigid tankers and over 20 tractors and machinery to provide all aspects of non-hazardous liquid waste transportation and disposal, and agricultural contracting services.
The majority of our modern fleet are Scania units.
This role involves:
- Hauling non-hazardous liquid waste in one of our fleet of artic lorries
- Ensure works are correct and fully compliant, with a high regard for correct working practices and health and safety
- There will be reactive callouts and unplanned emergency work
- This role involves nights out, minimum of two per week, and working a weekend rota every other week, if required (+ enhanced pay)
- You must be able to complete paperwork in an accurate and timely manner such as waste transfer notes
- You will be responsible for daily vehicle checks, defect reporting and completion of vehicle logs
- You must be a team player and able to communicate effectively with our office team and customers
- Company uniform, work wear and PPE is provided.
Key requirements:
- Must be experienced in driving a Class 1 HGV vehicle
- Hold full and valid UK driving licence and HGV C+E licence
- CPC Certificate is essential
- Can provide proof of right to work in the UK.
