We are seeking an Office Administrator - Specialist (initially Admissions & Attendance) to join our team at New Monument Primary School, part of Bourne Education Trust.

About New Monument Primary School: New Monument School, located in Woking’s vibrant Maybury community, is a one‑form entry primary school for children aged 2‑11. We work closely with Broadmere School, sharing a senior leadership team to ensure cohesive and high‑quality education. Details:

  • Location: Woking, Surrey
  • Contract: Term time plus 1 week, Maternity Cover – Temp Contract
  • Start Date: September 2026

Key responsibilities include:

  • Be responsible for all school admissions both September intake and in‑year admissions and for undertaking the School Census via the Department of Education.
  • Be responsible for the Waiting List and Admissions for the School Nursery – and for the administration of the Surrey Nursery Funding Portal.
  • Be responsible for school attendance in conjunction with the Senior Leadership Team and for the administration of Penalty Notices via Surrey County Council.

Requirements include:

  • Ability to demonstrate an awareness, understanding and commitment to the protection and safeguarding of children.
  • Experience working in an office environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Educated to GCSE standard at Grade A–C for a minimum of five GCSEs including Mathematics and English, or equivalent qualifications.
