Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic and proactive PE Technician to join our dedicated Physical Education team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about sport, enjoys working with young people, and is committed to supporting a thriving PE department.
Responsibilities
- Provide operational and administrative support to the PE curriculum, including setting up for lessons, supporting students, and helping organise sports fixtures.
- Assist with equipment management, safety checks, and venue preparation to ensure smooth delivery of PE sessions.
- Support teachers and students to maximise participation, growth, and enjoyment of physical activity.
- Support after-school fixtures as required (term-time role, 8:00 am – 4:00 pm, plus one flexible week).
Requirements / Qualities
- Enthusiastic and proactive attitude with a passion for sport and working with young people.
- Commitment to safeguarding and the highest standards of welfare and safety; willingness to undertake an Enhanced DBS check.
- Ability to work as part of a team and support a busy PE department.
