We are seeking a Nursery Early Years Practitioner to join our team at Broadmere Primary School, part of Bourne Education Trust. As an Early Years Practitioner, you will provide effective, targeted care and learning support for pupils under the guidance of the Nursery Teacher and Senior Leaders. You will help children develop independence, occasionally lead classes in the teacher's absence, and ensure the welfare and inclusion of all pupils. The role promotes the ethos, values, and safeguarding policies of the school and Bourne Education Trust.
Please note, some limited travel to New Monument Primary School will be required in this role (located approximately 1.5 miles from Broadmere Primary School).

Details:
- Position: Nursery Early Years Practitioner (Level 3)
- Contract: Termtime, permanent
- Start Date: ASAP
- Hours: 32.5 hours per week, 36.8 weeks per year (Mon - Fri, 8.15am - 3.15pm)

Key responsibilities:
- Working as part of a team, under the direction of the responsible Nursery Teacher, support teaching provision, development and implementation of learning for pupils.
- Under the guidance of the Nursery Teacher, facilitate the learning of individual pupils and groups, setting high expectations and promoting positive attitudes to learning.
- To support with the preparation of learning materials as required.
Requirements:
- Ability to demonstrate an awareness, understanding and commitment to the protection and safeguarding of children.
- NVQ level 3 in early years and education or equivalent e.g NNEB.
- GCSE English and Maths (or equivalent appropriate qualification).
