Job title: Head of Estates
Location: Addlestone, Surrey (regular travel to other school sites is required)
Contract: Permanent, full time (36 hours per week, 52 weeks per annum)

Key responsibilities include:
- Manage the Trust-wide Estates Strategy, including both long-term master planning and short-term tactical estate plans for each academy.
- Ensure the alignment of individual school development plans with overarching Trust priorities and educational outcomes.
- Manage and maintain a comprehensive Trust asset management plan.
- Lead estates-based sustainability initiatives, supporting the Trust’s environmental goals through Sustainable capital projects and policy development.
- In conjunction with health and safety consultants, provide guidance and oversight on all H&S aspects including risk assessments, emergency planning, and fire safety.
Requirements include:
- Ability to demonstrate an awareness, understanding and commitment to the protection and safeguarding of children
- Ability to think strategically and have good decision-making skills.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail, including an ability to plan and coordinate policy and practice.
- Confidence and ability in writing policies and procedures.
- Demonstrable experience of managing and controlling budgets.
- Proven experience and knowledge of construction law, methods of procurement and forms of contract.
- A qualification in health and safety management/or significant management experience of health and safety.
- A CIPS qualification or equivalent work experience.
- Knowledge and understanding of education.
